It was cold, gray, and I had to pee the whole time. It took 3 hours from the time we arrived by shuttle from the parking lot to the toilets after the tour. We got there and waited in the line which led into the visitor center where we watched a movie about Mormons and how they ended up in Finland. Then we went out in a group to wait in another line which finally took us on a guided tour through the new Mormon Temple in Helsinki. While we waited in line we got to ask all kinds of questions about it. I was wondering where is John Smith buried but, I never got a chance to ask. I love that their angels name is Moron. It was very interesting. Most interesting was the baptismal fountain which was on the back of twelve oxen reminiscint of the plaster cows that have been seen in Zurich or Stockholm. They should let people take photos of the inside. I don't understand why we can't.

Gema,
Glad you enjoyed the tour!
Just a couple of thoughts: Joseph Smith is buried in Nauvoo, Illinois, a town the Mormons established but were forced to leave before migrating to Utah. The 12 Oxen that the Baptismal font rests on are supposed to be representative of the 12 tribes of Israel. About pictures-it is my understanding that the
Church has some concern about how some people may use pictures of the Temple interior in a negative way.
Hope this helps!
Hey,
Thank you for the information. Cheers.
